On their return after the international break, Charlton were held to a two goal draw by Cardiff, after taking a 2 goal lead at the end of the first half. Defensive frailties and an injury ravaged squad enabled Cardiff to equalise in the 2nd half in ex Millwall gaffer Neil Harris' first game in charge.
