Seeing as Chelsea paid £71m for Kepa, and Liverpool paid £67m for Alisson, I don't think it unreasonable to expect a few bob more than £10 million for Pope. He's already proved himself at the level those two are playing at, and he's a full England international, £40 million would be a more than fair starting point for discussions imo.
Rather sell them Joe Hart for 1 pound.
I don't want to see these entitled "Big" clubs raping and pillaging us at all it we can avoid it. He will be sitting on the bench rather a lot at Arsenal I would guess in any event! Let them find their own players after all they are in the "divine" big 6 are they not; the only clubs that count for anything accoring to media and pundits!!!!!
Popeye deserves first team football with another top side ,I would not begrudge him a move to another premier league club if the price was right.. I think 25 million is the lowest starting price for bidders..I'm hearing Spuds are interested in signing him for next season..
