Unless Ross takes him with him....

lets face it even if ross goes and he takes fowler with him we are still playing too much catch up.
it would take a monumental collapse for us to catch them and even then we would need to find some sort of form to do so.
we need to focus on securing 2nd, finding some form then go from there. if we manage to get anywhere near saints come end of april then great if not then we can feel confident we can go up via playoffs due to the form we had shown in the later part of the season.
no point looking at saints when the gap is pretty big. focus on 2nd for the time being. make sure we dont end up in a similar position to last year were we needed to play 6games in quick succession to go up.
for the record i dont think ross will go.
Take it one game at a time. :)
I don’t think ross winning Scottish championship will give him better opportunity than this
Look at neilson example. He promoted hearts and got them to third. He only was offered mk dons in league below.
English prem is a mega money league. Their championship is big. If offered would be very off for ross not to take it and want his staff with him
Obviously interested then.
From that article does seem that they want him and he is interested in move.
Can’t see McCarthy would leave Ipswich for a more relegation threatened club IMO.
Good appointment for both club and manager I’d say if he does move.
Will make little difference to United if he moves - St Mirren have won the league.
Sadly, I think United have still to hit rock bottom with more draws and defeats to come ( hopefully I am proved wrong ).
Each of the 3 managers appointed over the past 2 seasons were given the remit of getting United promoted, anything less than winning the play offs will be a failure in terms of job remit for this season.
United need players on the pitch who don't like losing, won't accept defeat and will fight for the ball on every inch of the pitch and give 100% to their manager. We need winners in the team, players who play to win.
What we don't need are players who give up and play like a bunch of school kids - and we have a few of these in the squad.
