What? They said last time that the payments needed time to clear, but actually hadn't made the payments? And they're being given more time?
The Football League must now hope that they can at least complete the season (for the sake of the competition) but come the summer, after the Bury debacle, I'm not sure they'll be quite so patient in regards to being satisfied that they can fulfill next season's fixtures.
In other football news - The Premier League has a cap of £30 for away fan tickets. Manchester United for tonight's FA Cup tie are charging Wolves fans £55!!! There are now calls to cap all competitions.
