England Fc, & The Euro '20 Finals
Well, we/England are there and its another summer footy tournament to look forward to isnt it. And hey lets face it, we were always going to win that awfully poor qualifying group! (it would have been a national disgrace if we'd failed to qualify).
But surely theres too many dreadful teams playing in the Intl qualifying groups these days, and when these teams are getting battered regulalry by 5 or more it does nobody any favours at all. Its been mentioned before of course, but cant there be a sort of pre-qualifying thing for these sort of teams, shouldnt they be asked to earn the right to play with the top teams in the qualifying groups ?.
Anyway, what do we think then of this current Southgate led squad ?. I know we've got our faults and weaknesses in certain areas etc, but there are things to get excited about as well with this squad. And bear in mind next years Euro Finals will have a real Euro '96 feel about it again, because England will be based at Wembley in the group matches. And if we can get that far, the Semis and the Final itself will also be at our national stadium.
