Poveda - why all the fuss

Not saying the young lad doesn't have some skill & potential, but with the squad needing some recruits, who are match ready, able to make an impact etc, so far he & JKA, have shown precious little.
Poveda unable even to make the bench for last few matches, U23 form appears to be patchy, so unless he quickly adapts to life under MB, its looking like next season for him.
Club seemed hellbent on getting him in Jan, has he / will he make a difference this year, unlikely, surely the club would have been better to bring on the likes of McCarron / McInstry & co, closer and more in-tune with the 1st Team.
