It was no surprise to me the manner of that defeat, I saw it coming a mile off. We have looked flat and unimaginative since the League Cup group stages and having lost Kipre, Dunne, Bowman and Campbell from yesterday's starting line up it was only ever going to end badly. Last season our main attribute was a combative, robust battling style and that has been nowhere to be seen this season. Without the aforementioned players it was never going to reappear yesterday and a good side capable of playing some decent attacking football dispatched us with ease without getting out of second gear.
A massive, massive improvement is needed ahead of Saturday but I have a bad feeling about that one too.
