Jota played for Deano at Brentford TD, he's also Spanish so not a nose but I catch your drift mate.
So we will agree, it was just a dirty stain on his top. All ok now, he has been cleansed!
I said to my mate, if he comes to us he will need to get his hair cut, no gypos down here pal. Low and behold, first interview, hes hair was cut.....lol.
Quality! I seem to remember back in the 80's reports of a gypsy curse on the noses and so the players boots soles were painted red in an attempt to lift it - that one would grow arms & legs on Twitter these days XD
I believe barry Fry snook in one night a pi55ed on the corner flagged areas as he heard it would lift the curse! They are not cursed, they are just shlt.
When any of us do a family history search, we have to be prepared for a few shocks!
Mine was my family on my Dad's side were Brickmakers from Nether Heyford and they moved to Garrison lane brickworks in about 1850, this later became St Andrews football ground, no history of Gypsies to my knowledge.
Is that why the Peaky Blinders local was called the Garrison?
Indeed it is.
Twas sold at Villa Park 5 years ago.
Obviously, the natives around the locality of the pub would have been delighted that AVFC would have collected a nice little commission on the sale.
Ah well, another reason for the urchins to despise us. XD XD XD
