Excellent interview. Like the very positive approach.
Very positive approach. You can tell we'll have a fired up team that will take to the field on Sunday. What a refreshing way to go into such a game against the OF considering our last managers feeble attempts to talk us up.
If the players match the manager’s positivity, desire and enthusiasm then IMO we will not have a better chance of beating Rangers on Sunday COYW
It really is a breath of fresh air to hear a Motherwell manager talk so enthusiastically ahead of such a big game. It's such a departure from what we are used to from Motherwell managers and players of the past which basically have the impression that we'd be as well not even turning up.
Needless to say if Stuart McCall was still our manager he would have whimpered away our chances by now and talked up the mighty Rangers and their massive support and how Sunday "will be a tall order but we'll try our best, but we know it's a privilege to be playing a tie such as this" bla, bla, bla.
That said if McCall was still our manager we wouldn't have got through the Ross County tie, never mind gubbed Aberdeen in the Quarters so Sunday wouldn't be happening under McCall.
In Robbo we trust :)
Well, at least till Sunday afternoon ;D
