Well, it's a tactical change, clearly.
Charlie Slater is describing it as three central defenders with Duffy, Brisley and Hewitt, but a 3-5-2 that would still leave the midfield looking very light, and I'm not convinced Hewitt is much better at centre-back than right-back.
Hopefully it's more like a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 with Hewitt and Crawford as a defensive midfield shield and Husin given licence to get forward.
The good news is that Jones is nowhere to be seen, but the worrying thing is that Hewitt and Duffy are still in the starting 11. It seems no matter how bad some players play, they will always start, so what message does that send to the other squad members?
