Hi Taintedice.
The two week price freeze which has now ended was £340. if we are playing in the Championship next season that price equates to £18.89 per game assuming that the season ticket holder attends every home game.
The Super Early Bird price has now increased to £360 which equates to £20 per game again assuming that the season ticket holder attends every home game.
It is likely that a number of our home games would be televised live on the new ‘free to air’ BBC Scotland television channel with a Friday night kickoff at 7.05pm.
Even the most loyal Dundee season ticket holder will think twice about going to Dens on a cold wet Friday evening when they can watch the game in the comfort of their own home.
FPS have to wait until they know what league we are in. Not surprised that ST sales are horrific. Let's see what happens when we know which league we will be in next season.
Now I don't know if this is correct it's hard to verify but I was told we normally sell 70% of our season tics during the cheapest period....so the wait and see might be a tad optimistic b cram.
But I hope we beat the drop and the fans queuing round the block to buy them.
I think that's a bit impractical given the current state of affairs. I can't remember when season tickets went on sale for season 2014/15 but it was still unknown until the final whistle of the last game which league the club would be in. FPS were never going to reduce prices for season tickets anyway so they need to review PATG pricing.
