We played in white shirts in the Scottish Cup semi - final in 1950 but only because our Royal Blue clashed with the
opposition's light blue with red and white bands. If you really want to go into the colour of second choice shirts there have been many different colours used in the last 99 years !

As Macron are Italian it could be an idea to have a Sampdoria type top with the colours of the founding teams in the hoops around the middle.
I always rather liked Sampdoria's strip and something like that might have worked quite well as a one-off. I think there's something quite nice about the idea of using the colours of the founding clubs somewhere as Albertz originally suggested. I'm thinking, though, that these decisions will already have been made? If that's the case we're all wasting our breath!
