The Stan Laurel collapse.

I dont have to work now, but when i did, i tried this Laurel routine at work. I had started to use reading glasses back then, you will need a pair.
I walked into an office, a particularly difficult person was at the other end of the office. I mumbled "whos that?", and put on my glasses, as if i couldnt see them. I had stationed myself in front of some tall drawers. Having put them on and focussing, i stumbled backwards into the drawers as in shock, making a loud clattering. "oh, its so ". I stopped short of crying and pointing.

Well i thought it was funny. I told this person it was a Stan Laurel joke, but it made no difference. He was upset.

It's amazing that they still are funny 90 years later,how many of this millenniums comics will be able to say the same in the year 2100,neither of them was really a straight man to the other but they played off of each other superbly,even the songs in the films still seem singalongable,it's great that they stayed good friends all through their life
