[quote="2.4Ram"]Because most of thes linked with the Rams top job don't really inspire me, my thoughts are turning towards wanting Wassall to keep the job.
He knows the players already, knows where we need to improve, and the performance away at Hull proves he can get a performance out of them. Of course there was the 1st leg performance, but I think they were 2 extremes, which neither are that likely to be repeated next season. I know he's still on a learning curve, but he managed to stabilise us in the play offs and who's to say he won't up his own game next season, and under him we are capable of playing attractive football. I'm just not excited by the alternatives that seem to be on offer, and I'd hate to become a team that grinds out boring 1 0 wins each week, or worse still a hoof ball team. I feel we are close to a successful season, we only need a few tweaks here and there. Wassall has been in charge for 5 months, maybe a bit of continuity is what

Not overwhelming support for wassall then???
re: Who would keep Wassall
Why do we need experience? Rogers had no experience and did relatively well at Watford and then good things at Swansea. Warburton was working in the financial sector before the Brentford job. Poyet had no managerial experience before taking Brighton to the play-offs likewise with Dyche at Watford. Monk at Swansea was another. We are getting too hung up on experience.
Maybe look.down the leagues, somebody like Wilder who did a fantastic job at Northampton, Darrell Clarke at Bristol Rovers too.
Why does it have to be a big?
