Better than last week. Driving forward we were more convincing in attack.
Ben Williams was much more like the Ben that played at Peterborough. Sibbick improves weekly. Goalkeeper will be ok.
Woodrow, Chaplin and Thomas very good. For me McGeehan isn’t right.... Anderson a bit flappy when balls coming over... I think there’s some improvement. At times the forward play was good but again some short balls going too short.
Ref was poor, linesman missing loads of pulling...
The experience signing we need to make is someone who can teach us how to make a
“A tap” look like a booking offfence. Some gamesmanship needs to be taught!
Every time we made progress forward their penalty area we were pulled and pushed off the ball releasing possession
If we going to stop up we have to get savvy
Charlton , niddly orrible side , reflecting their manager , Bowyer constantly in the officials faces , it eventually went his way , he finally got in their heads , some poor decisions and bookings , Bowyer got them the point they probably deserved ,
Ben Williams ? Did he get MOM seriously :? He was dreadful , some decent performances and 2 good goals , my MOM would have been Sibbick , all abart opinions I suppose , and respect for other posters views too, another point on board , only need another 46 !!!
Anderson hasn't impressed me I'll give it another 6 games to see any improvement and hope he gets his act together
I was glued to set watching Jeff
When Woodrow scored .....no report from ground reporter
When Charlton equalised ....report from ground reporter
When Chaplin scored ....no report from ground reporter
When Charlton equalised ....guess what...report from ground reporter
Is it just me?
5 live were there many times for reports.
We played well, better than what I expected after listening to the previous two games. Charlton were able to get too many crosses in during the first half which looked terrifying from where I was sat but fortunately that only lead to one goal. We did some neat passing at times but as usual struggled to get decent balls into the box.
Big problem at left back. I hope the lad from Leeds can step up because at the moment I don’t think Williams is anywhere near ready for championship football his bad points far outnumber the good.
