Refereeing This Season
Referees have always made mistakes and always will do and in that respect they are just like the rest of us. However, this season I feel that referees in our games have been particularly poor and we're only 6 games into the league season. Every league game so far seems to have been littered by wrong penalty calls, erroneous red or yellow cards; and inconsistency. Yesterday was no exception. Unfortuantley we seem to have been on the wrong end of most of these errors. I don't ever recall our referees being so poor.

Totally agree Wellup4it but by all accounts it wasn't just our game yesterday that had dubious decisions in it but every game in our league yesterday had debatable refereeing decisions, even the media/ tv pundits couldn't agree on the referees outcomes. What worries me more is the fact that the referees will still have their games each week.Where as in the case of Dunne who was booked for absolutely nothing yesterday and not for the first this season could end up missing an important game through the total incompetence of a referee who in veritably has never played the game of football. On a different note can't believe the bookies have us at 4/1 to beat the Dons in ninety minutes on Thursday night COYW

Every time a ref is announced for the upcoming game your first thought is oh f*** not him. Doesn't matter who it is, that is always my first reaction. They are all s****.

I think Nick Walsh is the poorest referee we've had yet this season. From start to finish he looked simply out of his depth and at no point controlled what was always going to be a difficult game.

Very poor referee. Didn't expect anything else though.
