Don’t get me started on this.
There’s a lad at my local non league club constantly bashing on one.
There should be a special “morons corner” far away from the regular supporters for people who insist on coming to matches with instruments.
The local club also had a lad turn up with a Triangle a couple of seasons ago.......FFS...a triangle!
For once I was speechless.
I don't get to that many games now so have never experienced such a thing. Well meaning though they might be, I dread the thought of having to sit/stand near to some person/people banging a drum. Worst of all, are the trumpets etc that play The Great Escape and god knows what else at England matches. Somebody must like it but in the few games that I see on the box it makes me turn the sound down.
Try an official complaint of offensive noise pollution.
Donkeys years ago it was rattles, as a nipper I was bought one, although I barely used it at games, I used to drive my mom mad with it at home! Then came the gas horns, I got through a couple of those as a nipper aswel. Now it’s drums, can’t say as I like them either, when I sat in the Smethwick and one turned up for the first time it did my fckin head in but they’re like elevator music to me now, it’s there but I don’t notice anymore.
In a nut shell, the young uns’ love to make a racket and the owd uns like a bit of peace and quiet!😉😁
