I think its a fantastic article. Patullo still ridiculed by fellow journos of all persuasions for that pathetic nonsense. I recall Pat Nevin saying is that the height of your ambitions as a dundee supporter. He said - pretty much.
Guy is a joke with the same misguided priorities as most BNBs. He did go on to add that the only reason he said that was Dundee would never likely win a trophy in his lifetime (he's 46 now so 44 ish then). How phucking sad is that to live your life with no ambition other than to see a rival fail?
I have never once cared about Dundee in that sense - in fact for a while I had the "wish they got back up" thought, can only be good for city. See when we stayed up at ICT - I did laugh for a minute or so but havent engraved it on my forehead.
