Would Queens have Magic back at Palmerston as manager?
yep newby i agree with that statement ,i think queens currently have the players that can see us challenge for the title using the right tactics ,naysmiths tactics kill players like stirling ,players that like to go at defenders ,and yep if he never had dobs we would be currently playing in league 1 .
Don't agree with the recruitment bit. He's signed some pretty decent players.
And no one can argue that the players don't give 100% for the manager either. I think he could utilise them better though.
My criticism of him is he concentrates too much on the opposing team rather than setting us up on the front foot.
We were shipping in goals for fun at beginning of the season BUT scoring plenty too. Now he's found having a make shift holding midfielder (Doyle) has tightened things up. The problem is it's sacrificed attack and has made us dull to watch.
If he was to go I wouldn't be disappointed as imo this squad is underachieving for what it's capable of and we've lost a lot of fans but in the same vain we could be a lot worse off as well.
Shouldn't be too long before his contract gets renewed if we are planning on keeping him.
i think we will see what naysmith is about during this january window ,as he has started well in signing low ,iv yet to see mcguire so cant comment on him ,tho we still need a couple more from this window and if he signs a couple of clowns he will end up getting slaughtered by alot of fans .
If Naysmith were to apply and get the Dunfermline job, - I would have Alan Johnson once more at Palmerston, - as he would destroy teams with Queens free flowing attacking formations.
Alternatively, - wouldn't it be a lot easier if Naysmith simply utilised his troops to the best of their ability?
Newby mentioned that "if it wasn't for Dobbie" - and you are bang on! Stephen Dobbie is undoubtedly Queens greatest asset, who has already scored 30 goals this season.....teams should be utterly terrified of playing us, - so unleash the warriors!
