Yesterday's perforformance was the best I've seen from an Albion inside forward since Graham Lovett burst on the scene,
against Forest also he changed the game in the last 15 minutes when he switched to the No. 10 role.
I think he played really well, can carry the ball and run at the defence also has a decent pass and has a good shot
I think Barnes and Gayle were the most potent attacking threat and had some real urgency
For years now I've been asking "why doesn't anybody take a shot anymore?"
Finally, we've found someone.
I get excited when he's in and around the box, especially when he has space in front of him, you know he's lining up something positive.
Downside, he has a touch of the Sessignons at times and tries to over do it, which ultimately ends up with him being surrounded.
He's still a pup though and I'm glad we've got him.
Barnes was always having long range shots for us last season, and he scored some cracking goals. Whether hes just a short term or season long loan deal or not, he should do well for anybody at that level.
Barnes again our best outlet against boro, most creative, why take him off? I think the manager had pre thought his subs, mozza for barnes and dawson for adarabioyo, naive for me
