Oxford Utd 2 Charlton 1

An unbeaten run of games comes to an end in surprising fashion after the excellent win against the league leaders Luton Town in a 2 -1 defeat to Karl Robinson's Oxford Utd, themselves on a very good run.


Charlton scored first from a Lyle Taylor penalty on 5 minutes but were then undone by 2 set pieces where
Curtis Nelson scored on 18 and Luke Garbutt scored on 23 minutes for Oxford.

Charlton remain in 5th and have secured a play-off place for the 2nd year running under gaffer, Lee Bowyer but the chances of a top 2 finish and automatic promotion are looking very remote.
