Would we have seen a different / more speedy outcome from the footballing authorities if it was Pep Guardiola/Jurgen Klopp etc who had this atack/incident on them after say an FA Cup match with a league one outfit??

The incident needs to be investigated by both the FA and police. You are assuming that the rumours concerning the incident are true. They may be or it may be that you are getting half the story third hand.
It's possible that there are several different versions of events about what went off, perhaps with the people in the tunnel splitting into two camps based on club lines. The FA and police can't simply assume the truth of one version based on gossip and the identity of one of the participants.
More quickly than the less than 48 hours since the alleged incident? No.
Nope. Just get over your petty “Why is everybody always picking on me’s”. It’s a police incident first.
An incident occurred. Someone was injured. Investigation, then the EFL and FA should act. (SYP won’t, as they hate Barnsley people, and anything to do with them full stop). If it’s proved that the visiting manager was at fault, then BFC should ban him for life.
Take the punishment from the ruling body ( if they have the balls to do it ). A lifetime ban for Mr Barton from our Ground should be the MINIMUM the Reds should agree to. ....“If” Barton is found to be at fault.
