Reds to play WBA

Reds to take on the Baggies at Oakwell during July.

Barnsley Football Club have added West Bromwich Albion to the list of pre-season friendlies already announced as we build up to the 2018/19 league and cup campaign.

Tuesday 24th July, 7:30pm.

The match will see a return to Oakwell for new WBA Head Coach Darren Moore, who was placed in caretaker charge at the Hawthorns during their recent Premier League season, before being confirmed as the permanent successor to Alan Pardew this summer.

Moore made 76 appearances for the Reds after signing from Derby County and remains a popular figure both inside and outside of the Club.

Hey thats an interesting friendly seeing as it involves Daz Moore, and the fact that those pesky Baggies haven't won at Oakwell since Noah built his ark. ;)

I wonder if big Daz has ever been Gegenpressed?
