A battling no-nonsense performance from Charlton to earn the team and ensure they left Wycombe with all three points after Captain Jason Pearce scored from a volley on 34 minutes.

Dillon Phillips did brilliantly to make a number of saves from the Wycombe players with Adebayo Akinfenwa, one of Wycombe's outstanding individuals, being particularly threatening. But the Add1cks proved rock solid in defence and were able to see out the game leaving Charlton within four points of 2nd placed Sunderland in the league.

If the winning run continues the top two looks a possibility.
