Young Christian Mbulu was the subject of racial abuse from the Main stand today as he warmed up by a section of Hearts fans( use the term loosely) Believe two people have been arrested.Hope both their club and authorities throw the book at them,we certainly don’t need this in our game.Hope young Mbulu can move on from this disgraceful experience
Agreed. The suggestion is that there is video evidence. It would be terrific if that came from others in the stand as they showed their disgust the behaviour. Football rivalry is fine but we all have to be prepared to highlight that sort of abuse were it ever to appear in our own stands.
Apparently there was a group of about 20 involved, with 2 arrests made so far. Shocking stuff in this day and age. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised though as bigotry is alive and well in Scotland.
