Rotherham v Swansea

A chance to make it three wins in a row against a lowly Rotherham side was blown wide apart by controversial penalties late in the game.
With a possession rate of 74% the Swans were cruising this match despite some robust play hampering their natural passing game.
A goal from McBurnie on 25 min through a great cross from James and Swans fans were waiting for more.
Instead of going for the jugular we got overconfident and eased off, more content with keeping possession by passing sideways and back.
Our hesitancy to kill the game off came back to bite us hard late in the second half as a speculative long kick out from their goalkeeper found Nordfelt hesitant and rooted to his line, then changed his mind and came for the ball as it bounced and clashed with their forward Proctor, penalty. A few minutes later a rejuvenated Rotherham blasted a free kick at the defensive wall which hit Fer on the arm as he tried to protect his face, second penalty and game over. Three points squandered as per Ipswich game.
Conclusions-
No good playing pretty football if you don’t score goals
Nordfelt is weak on crosses, Mulder a far better goalkeeper and shouldn’t have been dropped
Subs introduced far too late in the game to make an impact
