United will undoubtedly be stronger than last season as the results under Neilson a big improvement on Laszlo especially after January signings. For the first time we’re going into a season with some continuity.
Partick Thistle won’t be as bad as last season. Results improved towards end of season and they’ve made a couple of decent additions.
Morton now have a manager who’s been successful in this league so expect they’ll be harder to beat than last season especially after the turmoil caused by McKinnon spending whole budget and doing the dirty on them.
Dunfermline another who changed manager last season and have done a lot of business so bit of an unknown quantity at the moment.
QOS under new (old) management and seem to be going down tried and tested route by signing previous players. With a prolific striker in Dobbie, they’re always going to be a threat but will probably lose as many as they win.
I expect Dundee to be decent but with so many changes it seems impossible they’ll be as strong as County who had a relatively settled squad and management combo who’d been in post a few months. Also considerable home advantage with away teams travelling all the way up there on day of game. Teams will see Dundee as a scalp and their home record has been poor for years.
ICT lost a couple of big players but always difficult to beat. Draw specialists yet again.
Ayr definitely be weaker. Lost too many good players not to be.
Alloa losing Goodwin makes life more difficult for them. Won’t match last seasons points total.
Arbroath coming up and will see this season as a free hit but replacing a big full time team in Falkirk.
