I remember Billy Faulds with a very, very short haircut.
I also recall Tommy Bryce Mk. 1 having some issues.

Jim Thomson was in the paper last year and he could be joined by fellow centre half Alan Mackin who was a bit of a lad in his day
Re. Billy Faulds.I know that this is going back to around 1969/70 or thereabouts,but,I was lead to believe that Faulds was let out from HMYOI to play for Queens for home matches only,before being banged up again immediately after the match. Whether this is a load of nonsense I don't really know,but it does seem improbable.However,as an impressionable 12 year old at the time,I always remember being sort of scared of seeing Billy Faulds as if he was some kind of Al Capone type.Why was he incarcerated? Aint got a clue!
The one fact that sticks in my mind about Faulds was that he was signed from French team Boulogne but no idea if he was or had been
in the Tate and Lyle at some point.
