Great. Thanks for doing this.
They are away to Formartine United or Cove Rangers on February 10th
No worries
Good spot aloreburn as I never thought about checking the fixtures with the scottish cup dates but I have had a look at them.
Fifth Round – Saturday, 10 February 2018
Sixth Round – Saturday, 3 March 2018
Semi-finals – Saturday, 14 and Sunday, 15 April 2018
So as you pointed out that we may have another free weekend on march 3rd as you would expect Falkirk to beat Formartine United or Cove Rangers but at least its a home match that would be postponed and having also looked at the semi-finals dates we have Morton away that day and with them still in the cup might be postponed as well but they would still have to win 2 games for that to happen starting with a tie against Dumbarton.
I also had a look at Dundee Utd fixtures to see who they had on March 3rd just in case they got knock out against Aberdeen but they have St Mirren who are already out just in case they were a chance to get our match against them rearranged for then but no chance of that.
Midweek games equal lower crowds and less income. Bit of a nightmare for Queens
Have updated the 3rd quarter as today was when everyone should have played 27 games but it turns out no one has.
I have also moved Dumbarton v Livingston game (26th December) from the 2nd to the 3rd so its in the right date timeline.
Attachment 8705
So we enter the last quarter with each team needing to play more than the 9 games and us to play Dundee Utd 3 times.
13 Games - Dundee United
12 Games - Dumbarton & Inverness
11 Games - Brechin, Dunfermline & Queens
10 Games - Falkirk, Livingston, Morton & St Mirren
Also if you go by 9 games played the points total for Queens is season.
1st - 12 points
2nd - 14 points
3rd - 9 points (7 games so 2 more games for this quarter)
Good information. Thanks...
