Personally I continue to believe that Johnson is a buffoon and that Brexit is a massive mistake but this was the ‘Brexit Election’ and the outcome was overwhelming. I can’t argue with that.
Probably not helped by people with plenty to say on the subject ultimately abdicating their responsibility to vote but I suppose, in the circumstances, your decision to consistently oppose Brexit and then not ‘waste your shoe leather’ by actually voting tells it’s own story.
At least we’ve seen the end of Corbyn, Swinson and possibly Farage but as MoP says...’time to work together’ and make the most of what, imo, is a bloody awful outcome.
Hopefully we’ve hit rock bottom and a new party of centrism that we can both support might arise from the ashes...going to take a while though, at least five years, maybe another decade.
