I don't recall 'blaming the pitch'. Just pointing out it was crap and that detracted from an already poor match.

Think that's already full, this was for the bonus features!
Fair points. He is a promising young player but needs to start coming through with match winning performances, or at the very least cut out the errors.
Most annoying things for me were:
Our OCD, paint by numbers style of football. We appear to have very little football intelligence and creativity when plan A isn't working.
Forest Green's...
Thought this might be an entertaining basketball style match seeing as there's nothing riding on it, but it looks like Cotterill has sent them out to get a clean sheet.
Trying to play through...
Wasn't he injured? I suppose if there's any doubt about his fitness at all they're not going to risk him for end of season matches.
Interested to see how our angry Scottish midfield gets on. A...
FGR 2 Notts 5
(Macca 3 Jatta 2)
Maybe I'm being thick here, but what's the margin in the cases where it's not clear? It still ends up with VAR drawing lines on a freeze frame to see if the lino made a mistake, doesn't it?
I don't see how the daylight rule would change anything. There would still be marginal decisions where someone is off by 1mm.
Offside is a great example of VAR working well MO. It doesn't matter if it's a toenail or 5 yards, if it's off it's off.
Unusual behaviour by Forest, but there looked be at least one probably two penalties there.
If there was a Luton fan on the VAR that's a pretty stupid and avoidable way to create controversy.
He was never really fast, and yes it's normal not to be sharp after so long out, but yes he was a yard slower than the rest of our team. Even Jatta is a quick player despite being so big.
Hope we...
If you had asked me in October I would've said thanks Jim and good luck. Now I feel like he's still got something to offer both on the pitch and in terms of setting the right example off it. I would...
I disagree, but OK.
Just read the whole thread and have to say I'm surprised. I thought that was a fairly routine home win with long periods of domination and quite a few chances created.
Is that me being a bed...
I think that's harsh. Admittedly I watch on iFollow but that wasn't a scraped win, was it? I thought we outplayed them.
Seems harsh. Seeing as the odds get higher and higher maybe they should get highest published odds?
Some ridiculously good goals there. Seems a while ago when Macca would turn a long punt forward into a goal.
Bostock's chest and volley was so elegant, can't remember seeing him in that kind of...
When I watched them against Stags a couple of weeks ago I remember thinking their pacey / powerful attacking players are everything our defenders hate.
4-3 to Notts out of stubbornness more than...
I agree with the second part but I don't think they are proposing never ending possession to make the stats look good. They are results oriented at the end of the day and want to win.
Re: the...
Completely agree!
Yeah, that's a plausible explanation for sure.
I thought Montague spoke pretty well, although I thought Joe was probably better in getting to the point and saying things of substance, but I suppose he deals in numbers rather than humans, so it's...
They couldn't have made it clearer that they're not going to do a Wrexham, but it was also fairly obvious they are looking to upgrade the defence this summer.
Key takeaways:
Macca going for £20M in the summer
The Nest to be knocked down and replaced with luxury flats in 10 years
Stall showing all the bravery and determination we used to see from...
