Reminiscent to the second half fade against Hamilton. No fight, no direction, strange team selection.
The obvious is what is not to like - the absence of a 100% player Grimshaw
It does not really matter who we sign up front. Until we can get a supply line to them it will be a struggle. Would be nice to see us trying to sign an imposing midfielder.
Out fought on the field - inexcusable, and out thought off it. Our team was swamped by greater effort and an inability to match up to the opposition tactics and formation. Not for the first time our...
Why single out Grimshaw? The same could be said about the rest of the defence - including yesterday. That being said why not move Grimshaw to help a pedestrian midfield actually move forward.
Not a single creative bone in the midfield anf frequently swamped because we don't match up to opposition numbers. All 100% triers but if you can say the same about most teams.
He was far better than his defensive partner who according to Davie Provan is the first name on the sheet. If that is the case it is little wonder we are so bad.
Charles Dunne will never be a centre half. With a real defence and some steel in midfield Celtic would not have been too clever today. I heard Robinson say that the midfield was not fit enough to...
We did not attend the same games,it seems
Great news. At last Robinson has opened his eyes. Grimshaw was badly underused by the manager both last year and earlier this season. Hopefully he will be with us for a long time.
Done very well by sticking to our principles? Just start with Sammon. How does that fit in?
Back to basics. Was the player in need of attention ? if so stop the game. If not play on.
McHugh has proved time after time to all -except the manager- that he can't play midfield.
That would be short sighted. The signings have been awful, the tactics juvenile and the performances woeful. The team on the pitch is rudderless. Time for change before it is too late.
