Wonderful stuff, Frog!
That is interesting.
Seemed hard to find but happy with a birdy 3 after a slow start.

I think a lot of us had similar difficulties with this word…

Time was we were all pretty satisfied with a par 4. Now it’s marked down. I suppose competition teaches us to raise our expectations. Not a bad thing in itself but a four is still a perfectly good...
Good to see, Adventus. It’s been a while since we’ve had a 2 between us.
A par 4 for me with very similar poor putting as yesterday after great approach play…

Similar approach play to CAM on this one. Need to practice putting before the next tournament.

Really helpful second guess gave me a fairly straightforward job for a birdy three:

Take in a copy of this week’s The Law Society Gazette for him to read. It might keep him in a good mood. (Only ‘might’ of course; no guarantee…)
Unusual word for Wordl. I’d considered and rejected it on the third guess and then it became the only call:

Also a 3. Long search on second go and seemed to be the only possibility with that vowel combination.

Sorry, pup, can’t help you. I’m with the birdies. Think you’ll have to take your chances with Howdy!

Well done, Mr and Mrs ELK! Always great to hear news like this. I’ll be celebrating 50 years next year (all being well) and know it takes a huge commitment and hard work.
Very classy, Eddy!

Get a room, you two!
Oh, wait…
Par for me and a bit lucky on a multiple choice on the third go. Pleased considering the crappy start.

I was also one of the screen starers after going through an awful lot of unused letters.

Bad day at the office (not literally like Raging!) had me burning on the fifth go (remarkably like Ronners!) to get any joy within six tries.
Those of you getting it in 3 did remarkably well.
...
I’d say you’re right, CAM - especially when it comes to vowels. Throw in the less used U and we older gents struggle to move outside our set patterns!
Thought there were going to be loads of possible answers after first go. Lucky second go took me to a place where there was only going to be one.

Other than having the foresight to buy a ****load of Apple shares, I wouldn’t change a thing.
Had a great ride and don’t have any regrets.
A most enjoyable competition, Brin, and a great tussle with you and others for the top spot. There’s always this feeling that somebody’s going to have a 20+ pointer and nip in front!
As always...
