Coventry under transfer embargo as HRMC still not paid.

Seems a strange embargo that they cannot complete any transfers up to December. There's a month off in November for the World Cup so that won't affect them. I very much doubt they want to bring in any free transfers before January either.

But like every other club in the league they can only sign free agents anyway until the transfer window opens in January?

So not much of a punishment

No punishment at all if you ask me, imo they’ve got the players that will keep them in championship so no problem unless they’re wanting premiership football

Good luck to them and hopefully like us they'll get some stability under the wing of a local businessman. Yelo Enterprises (a great name for an oil seed rape company), I wonder if there'll be a change in club colours coming along or if he'll take the Cardiff blue/red debacle into consideration.

It’ll be good if they can get the arena.

They need to look at getting their own ground.

Former Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has taken over the Coventry Building Society Arena after buying its three operating companies.
