Exeter fans all pretty much interpreting the lack of news as confirmation that Matt has taken the job and that it is just about going through the solicitors stuff, contracts and arranging pressers etc. One on their quoting a souce close to the Exeter club indicating that an alternative manager there has alreadybeen offered the post.

You would think that it would be quicker for the news to arrive officially if it was a No. A yes involves a lot of sorting out behind the scenes before a name goes on paper and in all that time, minds can change.

No it’s not obvious at all, I’m sure he needs to speak to people around him, I’m sure he’s let whoever needs to know what his answer is, it’s Monday where normally you’d see a statement about it after a weekend of both clubs playing
