Aston Villa Sack Manager Roberto di Matteo

All going at Villa Park again, it's a results business and Villa have only won one league game so far this season. Wolves up next for Villa on the 15th of this month.

New owners are wanting instant success but aren't getting it.

I read about the sacking on one of the (many) threads devoted to Aston Villa on the sandwell board.

A division apart but the obsession still burns bright

I've been taking an interest in the threads over there regarding Villa, he beats talking about Pulis or their own club........oh wait

As for the Villa job, wouldn't it be funny if they went for Dean Saunders, or he put his name forward for the job

They are a club in turmoil, that's for sure.
The way they are going, does it remind you of another Midlands club in the not so distant past?
As for Eye Of The Tiger Saunders, an appointment at Villa would seal their fate, even at this early stage.

On the plus side, it would give a couple of the sandwell lot something to talk about instead of bullying their fellow posters.

What a Chinese fire drill, unbelievable. Although not really, the owner has made a big investment and the Chinese don't pi$$ about. Great fun though!

It certainly does remind me of our drop from Premier League to league one. The next appointment at Villa is a big one that's for sure. At the moment Villa have that losing feeling and it's a massive wake up call.

It's entertainment central on benny mad at the moment.
