REG goes out on loan again….

    …. to Wigan!

Recruitment missed a trick there didn’t they?
Poor communications with Huddersfield somewhere along the line has cost us re loaning a good quality player.

Bad on Millers recruitment & Huddersfield Town FC, the Miller helped REG get through a apprenticeship of football
in the lower leagues, which will help him during his career, good luck to the lad.
But Huddersfield Town have not shown respect to the Millers, if they did not contact the club about another loan.

I think we might be regarded as more of a threat than Wigan but find it bizarre as he has broken into Towns first team this season.

Maybe they did and REG didn’t want to come back?

Maybe we have already spent all our available money?

Just a thought, had we already fully recruited our back line before REG became available?

Still doesn’t remove the fact, no one’s been forthcoming saying we’d taken the trouble to initially contact Huddersfield to see if he was available again. Obviously he was as he’s now at Wigan.

I have it on good authority that we were going to sign REG again but the EFL put a block on it as we would be exceeding the league's hyphenation allowance.

Maybe he only became available for loan after Huddersfield signed Helik from Barnsley yesterday?

Bit OTT to criticise the recruitment team!

Pretty sure if he'd been available earlier we would have signed him. Unfortunately we'd made all ours in his position and we're not in a position to sign players that technically we dont need!! I'd have liked to see him back but it is what it is.

Harsh to blame the club/recruitment team IMO.

I thought Reg was tremendous for us last year, but if you look at the recruitment we are well fixed up for defenders especially down that right hand side where Reg played last season.
