Very impressive. Not losing by more than a 2 goal deficit in a year is something you wouldn’t think is a stat of interest but it means we are never “tonked” by anyone. The win rate is great. 22 in 47?

Not a bad set of stats at all considering. Yes, we have had a mixed bag of games with some performances showing great attitude and commitment and others where our pedestrian play and lack of creativity has indicated the exact opposite, but over-all I think he has had a very good first year. Most of us on here have questioned his team selection at times, but he is the man who is in the position to best judge his players and with a few exceptions has invariably been proven right. Fans will always have their disagreements with managers though, especially in difficult times.

Given the uncertainty around the club, the financial constraints and the quality of the group of players available, it is difficult to see how anyone else could have done better. We have had some truly dreadful managers in the past but Carlos certainly isn't one of them. Really hope he stays and can over see a rebuild if we get new owners.
