Another icon of modern music has died.

Don Everly, the last of the Everly Brothers died on Saturday. The Everly Brothers were amongst the pioneers of modern music, great songs with great harmonies, and influenced the careers of many great singers and bands that followed, including The Beatles. RIP Don, along with brother Phil, never to be forgotten.

Absolutely spot on Kets, what an amazing sound they created.

They liked each other about as much as me and my brother do though.

Giants of the music industry though.

The Everly Brothers were absolutely legendary. Without them I don't think that popular music would have developed in the way that it has done. They influenced so many of the great artists that came after them. We'll never see their like again.
