I reckon that is a the longest post on record. Today was a an opportunity missed to get within striking distance of second place I know that is stating the obvious but I reckon it may cost us in May
Swansea although based in south Wales have played in the English leagues since 1920 & currently play in a 21,000 capacity stadium.
Swansea gross financial debt stands at £36m, the club's highest ever.
This includes £16.5m of convertible loan notes held by American investors Kaplan, Levien & Silverstein which increased by £2m last season via 2 EFL loans amounting to £5.9m, state Swans latest accounts.
Owners ?
Jason Levien, licensed Attorney & Sports agent is also owner of DC United.
Jake Silverstein is chairman of family office Stormlight Holdings a family investment office based in Portland Oregon.
Stephen Kaplan, also an American businessman, co-founder of Oaktree Capital Management, a pension plans biz. He is a minority owner of NBA's Memphis Grizzlies.
The Swansea Coach (currently)🤞 is ex-Barnsley coach Michael Duff.
The summer transfer window saw the arrival of 13 new player faces. The squad average age is 24.7.
Last time out "away" they lost to Ipswich 3-2, despite having 62% possession, leaving Duff to comment.
"It was a frustrating day because you're pleased with the character & some of the quality but frustrated that we gave away poor goals".
Swansea usually play 4-2-3-1with a known predominant strength attacking down the left via winger Lowe netting 4 so far.
Stats show they operate an impressive offside trap this season helped so far as they've managed to field a consistent starting 11.
Danger men ?
Lowe & Cullen are the main danger men out wide for Duff’s side.
Stats state striker Yates, £2.5m from Blackpool, is known to run his socks off & has a 5 goals tally too.
Swansea score a goal every 65 mins & score an average of 1.38 goals per game.
Stat analysts tho have found countless spaces ''can'' be found in between the Swansea lines, meaning they are vulnerable when full-backs attack them, particularly attacking wing backs who can cut inside. 👍
Stat-data identified weaknesses?
Aerial duels.
Defending set pieces.
Protecting the lead.
Stopping opponents from creating chances.
Defending against attacks down the wings.
Leeds confirm that dialogue took place with Swansea regarding "reciprocal ticket pricing" for both this game & the reverse fixture, however an agreement could NOT be reached. ☹
Swansea given initial allocation of 600 tickets for their 264 mile trip to ER with bus seats for each person £42.

History states that in 1700s to late 1800s, Swansea was the world leading copper-smelting area.
However through the 20th century its heavy industries declined, leaving the Swansea valley filled with derelict works.
The present Enterprise Zone was the result & of the many original docks only those outside the city continue to work as docks; North Dock is now Parc Tawe & South Dock became the Marina complex & trendy nightlife scene.

The poet Dylan Thomas is perhaps the best-known to be born in Swansea & as all Leeds Utd fans should know its where our ledgend John Charles was born & began his career before joining Leeds in 1949.

Of late our magical talisman Pablo Hernández played for them as did Garry Monk who also Coached them - many more played for both clubs too.
The Swans’ is the official nickname, also the Jacks has long been associated with the fans of Swansea, derived from a black retriever named Jack who lived on the seafront in 1930's Swansea who saved lives of many people in rough seas & now has a statue !
I reckon that is a the longest post on record. Today was a an opportunity missed to get within striking distance of second place I know that is stating the obvious but I reckon it may cost us in May
Their 33 and 6 look promising?
After Fridays result and the performance that led up to it, I wouldn't put anything past this bunch, they seem determined to f00k up (apart from Summerville, who seems very intent on showing the rest of the Championship and more particularly those in the PL and abroad, just what he is capable of).
At the risk of being labelled s e xist, your smile makes any of your posts (no matter the content) a pleasant one! (what are those two squares at very "strategic" positions?)
On a footballing note, and less pleasant/positive, the ridiculous horse-trading on away ticket pricing makes the whole of the Championship look like a set of barrow boys.

WTF should have gone to Specsavers. Nice pic Ms T, oh and great teeth
Summerville is our version of raheem sterling
Let’s hope the old boy syndrome works in our favour for once and Mr D James bags a couple.
Gnonto looked okay when he came on v Millers and created the disallowed goal pretty well.
Bryan should be fit, Struijk back and at hope should get 3 points.
