    TIME TO BUILD FOR NEXT SEASON'S SPL CAMPAIGN

    Now that our Manager has instilled some long awaited confidence in the team - let's not forget that a lot of them are unlikely to be here next season. I expect that he knows who is going and who is staying by now - he's had the time needed to judge. Certain players - Vigurs, McHugh, McManus and Lawson have to go - none have shown the will or the ability to fight for the cause - they have to go. Keith is lucky he has a contract for another year - he should only be used as a last resort - he has gone downhill at an alarming rate. Captain for next season has to be Pearo - he will be able to lead the young players by example and will show the fight required. Required: long term goalkeeper, two centre halfs, sitting midfielder. We now have wide players and strikers competing for places. The exodus should free up money for decent contracts for decent players - who will be a good investment also. We're at the start of the climb - but I see us coming back stronger after this transitional s

    Lets secure our place in the top division first. Agree with many of your points, but would add that McManus is also on a 2 year deal. Squad number swill be cut from what we have at present but that isn't surprising given our January spending spree. Players are already being targeted for next season.

    However lads like Hammell, Watt, Pearson, Johnson, Erwin, Craig Moore and Dom Thomas will all be here next season. Thats a decent foundation on which to build.

    Lol love your confidence. Agree with your points on players, disappointed that McManus still has a year left as he had been a really poor signing who for a mountain of a guy continually ends up 2nd best to opposition strikers, has no awareness either. hope the tell him thanks but find another club. He has gotten away with last few matches because we are on front foot more but he is a truly awful centre half.
    Things are much more positive for sure, 2nd half against Killie was excellent.
    Tue can't come quick enough, we need to keep it up and hope we get a break else where before we can look forward to world domination again lol[!]128521;

    The primary thing again is to put pressure on RC to get a result. If we win they cant relax to any degree. If we lose and give them a free run at their game its a disaster.
