    Very worrying Alf.

    Pope is not looking good.

Let's hope Tom can shake off his calf strain before Southampton.

I think it will be serious unfortunately, if Toms calf doesn’t improve fast life will be difficult. Anders did well considering ..

I can't see any reason to panic, we've got a perfectly adequate back up in Lindegaard. He's not exactly a complete novice, he's an international keeper who Fergy was happy to have as back up keeper at United for Van de Sar and De Gea, and Fergy doesn't suffer fools, or players who can't do their jobs.

There was a bit of a panic when Tom got injured, but Pope did alright, there was a panic at the World Cup that Pickford wasn't going to be up to it, but he did alright. I'm sure Lindegaard will do alright as well.

We have one, Adam Legzdins. And if he's not considered good enough, and neither Pope nor Heaton are going to be available soon, we have plenty of time to sign another.

Pope dislocated his shoulder making his first appearance of the new campaign in the club's Europa League clash with Aberdeen on Thursday night.
England keeper Pope suffered injury in Europa League clash with Aberdeen and is set to be out of action until October at the earliest - handing Heaton chance to reclaim his role as first choice in Sean Dyche's side.
But SunSport understands there are fears surgery could be needed, which would force him out until the beginning of 2019.

Such a shame for Nick after a brilliant season culminating in his World Cup call up.
It certainly seems that it is the same sort of injury which Tom sustained and will take some time to make a full recovery.

I somehow don't think that we will be offloading a keeper now!
