    Loan signings

Loan deals are a necessary evil in the modern game.

I wonder where how the big clubs view us now after several loan deals that didn’t work out. Pulis never seemed to be happy to give loan players much of a chance and I hope that hasn’t affected our chances with any potential loan deals for up and coming younger players at the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal etc.

Hopefully they will see that Mooro’s experience has been developing the younger players and that any loan deals will be good for both us and the development of their player.

Obviously would prefer it if we could buy some of these youngsters rather than get them on loan but some deals work very well for all sides. Let’s hope any loan deals this window work out to be a lot better than the majority over the last 12 months or so.

Anyone else think our reputation may have been tarnished by some of what has happened recently?

Its been generally a poor return , whoever our manager was.
Robbo got Richardson from Man U who made a massive contribution and then went on to have a decent career, he even played for England after the great escape. Mcshane also developed
Lukaku has to have been the best.
But generally most of them never played more than a few games for us let alone develop and become household names.
So I don’t think the big boys will see us as masters to their apprentices.
They do see us as a dumping ground for some of their injury prone crocks and charge us over inflated prices for the privilege.
