    Burnley sign Ben GIson

Can see Dawson staying. Good news for us if he can get over not getting a move, just hope he doesn't do a Evans.

On yesterday's showing we need him in there. I thought the pairing of Hegazi and Bartley looked vulnerable.

Vulnerable JD, it was absolutely appalling! It's imperative that we hold onto Dawson. Make him stick to his contract for the next twelve months. I think he's got two years left.

Amazing that Pulis spent all last summer trying to sign Gibson. Then has him and sells him.

Which shows you just how desperate Gibson was/is to play for Pulis!

Instead he goes to a smaller club with a forward thinking manager who has a record for growing quality centre backs.

    Good career planning by Gibson.

Gibson was told by his owner/uncle last year to stay one year to help get boro promoted.

That was after he agitated for a move all last summer and then put a transfer request in.

Boro didn't go up and now he has got his wish of a prem move.

Dawson has gone down in my estimation and needs to start performaning to his true capabilities instead of constantly biting the hand that feeds him .

Dawson had the perfect role model in Evans last season.

So Burnley quite happily pay 15M for Gibson, a player who had one decent season in the prem. Last year they paid 15M for Woods who had no experience in the top flight.
They then offer us 25M for both Dawson and Rjod both who are proven over many seasons in the top flight.
If Gibson is worth 15M and Mawson 20M then Dawson is worth at least 20M alone.
Maybe they think there is a time lapse further south and it’s the year 2000 in the midlands!
