    O/T Cricket - Yorks v Es***

County Championship game just started today (Mon). Will Fraine, makes his County Champonship debut for Yorkshire as opening batsman. He is Yorkshire-born (somebody is certain to ask!). Live stream on YCCC official site.

End of Day One - Yorks 289-6.
The Headingley surface looked rather green at the start , and there was always a bit of encouragement in the pitch for the bowlers.
A stylish 39 on Yorkshire first class debut by Fraine. He was bowled by a delivery that would have removed most batsmen, and he looked more than useful. Good innings from Lyth and Kohler-Cadmore, who both looked set to make tons, but fell just short. Tattersall and Bess were still there at close of play.
Quite sunny in Leeds today, but may not be such clear conditions tomorrow. Good toss to win, so le's hope that we can make the most of it.

Day 2 - Yorks 390 all out (Bess 91 not out)
    Hants 18-1
Raining and looks like play finished for the day.
We need to get Bess signed up on a permanent contract, if possible

He was a bit of an emergency call up for England due to injuries to Leach and others. There aren't a lot of England-qualified spinners around who are international standard.
