    championship is a specialist league

How many times has a premiership side came down in the championship and gained promotion straight back, how many have gone down to division one and spiraled further. The reason being is that the championship is the hardest league to play in for whatever reason and if rotherham can adapt in this first season and stay up it will be a big achievement. Sgeve Evans knows he has to bring fringe premiership players and experienced championship players in to succeed.
He has to keep these loan players in for the full season has did in the first division thats why we were so successful. What does everyone else think.

I agree with you we need players that are Championship standard, league 1 players arent good enough
Similarly we need a Championship standard manager, coaches and staff, league 1 standard isnt good enough

and Championship money to pay Championship wages...I don't think TS realised that even Evans with his strict rotation policy would struggle like he has...this is the semi big boys league and you cannot get by paying League 1 wages...sorry but this is fact...

One thing on a positive note is we are not down yet by a long way and I still believe Steve Evans will keep us up as hard as this may seem to some...

Still not buying the old we haven't the money to compete excuse.

27 players have been signed since wembley and possible that another three are on the way taking that up to 30! What do people think we are paying them with? Fresh air?

Thing is the likes of Hall and Brandy were pay as you play so cost next to nothing...others have been 1 month loan deals and have gone back so again not too costly...now count up all the monthly loan deals he's used in total and you will soon see he hasn't spent a kings ransom by a long chalk...also don't forgot those that have been moved out so their wages part paid most loan deals...

It's the numbers that's been involved that sounds mind boggling but in reality there's been a lot of counter balancing along the way...

    Not too costly?

Other than wages you have to add in agents fees, out of pocket expenses and in some cases paying for transport and renting accommodation.

Like most of the team JR as not all of them bought property up here when they signed for us...some of them have gone so again their rent/accommodation will have been used on the new players...well you would have thought so..
