    OT - Labour Party

    If they are to make the next step up I think their name needs changing to somethimg more inclusive. To succeed they need to appeal to a wider audience than the name infers. Discuss....

    No evidence to suggest that either the name or their leader is a problem, keep on working for the majority of this country and try and curb the powers of the elites who control everything and next time they have a good chance of winning!

    I still think they'll come up short in the next election. 70 seats is quite a lot and the Tories made a lot of mistakes. I think Corbyn is something of a Michael Howard, sets the party up for the new leader to take over and win. He's more Kinnock at the moment.

    When the hell did Michael Howard set anything up? He left office almost five years before the Tories came to power and that was only as a result of the global recession.

    He turned the party around after some disastrous leaders, rifts and losses. It was in a better place for Cameron when he took over.
