    Lascelles

Being offered a new 5 year contract according to some sources.
Centre backs are in short supply these days, probably tying him to longer contract before the moneybags clubs come in.

it was also indicated that he was more than due a payrise as his original contract was signed as an under something or other therefore low wages

    Good news.

He's had a bit of a shaky time but he's also shown some real quality. Good character and doesn't hide and if he continues to develop as a player we'll be glad we tied him down to a longer contract.

As long as he's playing well his confidence will grow and the odd mistake he makes will become history.

I love his passion and how he told the players they weren't giving enough for the club. Has quality too just sometimes has a mistake in him which tbf most young players have.

Good news i think, it'll also filter down to other players that you do well you get the rewards.
