    New Lounges opened

New lounges for players and managers look good ... Clearly

Clearly Interiors; locally based experts at interior design, were tasked with creating matchday surroundings fit for top-flight, elite level footballers and their families to relax and enjoy pre and post-match activities. They have exceeded all expectations!

Expertly put together by Clearly Interiors, the new lounges over-looking the Turf Moor pitch really do have heads turning. After undergoing a full refit and upgrade, the two lounges now include bespoke ********, high-end built-in appliances, big screens to watch the action, communal seating areas; including individual booths for both players and their families to sit and enjoy while here at Turf Moor on matchday.

    all very business like....

not an armchair or comfy sofa to be seen....am no fan of this modern styling arrangement - though I suppose it's an easy clean for any spilt drinks.

It looks very formal and austere to me. It reminds me of an IKEA catalogue. YUK!

Very nice, good for them, while at the same time top flight, elite level supporters and their families can continue to enjoy a pie and a pint, crammed in like sardines in a draughty, freezing cold, concrete concourse. And of course it's us riff-raff who actually have to pay
    for the privilege.

Give me the old Longside/Bee Hole terracing, complete with disgusting toilets and hot dog stands any day.

And, yes. I AM being serious.

Same here mate, firstly they took the cricket field end off us,then they took the longside and beehole end off us and left us with a soulless ground with hardly any atmosphere..I tried the cricket field stand and Bob Lord stand for a few years, but gave it up as a bad job after being surrounded with some utter phookwits who knew phook all about football and all they could do was shout obscene and racist comments For all the ninety mins .. At least you could stand where you wanted with your mates before the stands were built..

Yes, the Cricket Field End was very special to me.

Fantastic memories from when I was in my early ****s.

I loved everything about it, the pre-match music (for some reason I vividly remember Carole King singing "It might as well rain until September"), great banter and one of the best teams in the country. and bloody hell, it was deafening in there!
