Leeds United - v - Norwich City ***Matchday Thread***

Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen is confident midfielder Pablo Hernandez (hamstring) will be able to return.

However, striker Caleb Ekuban (foot) is out after going off injured in the 3-1 win over Queens Park Rangers.

Norwich midfielder Alex Tettey returns to the squad for the first time since the end of September after recovering from a calf injury.

James Husband (groin) and Steven Naismith (ankle) are on the mend, but will not be involved at Elland Road.

    Match facts

Three meetings between these teams in all competitions last season produced a total of 15 goals, with each side scoring at least twice in each of those games.

The Canaries have won one of their last eight trips to Elland Road in all competitions (D4 L3), a 2-0 win in April 2015.

Two of the three occasions Leeds came from behind at half-time in the Championship last season to avoid defeat were against Norwich - they recovered from 1-0 down to win 3-2 at Carrow Road and 3-1 down to draw 3-3 at Elland Road.

Although only Millwall (21) have used fewer players in the Championship this season than Norwich (22), the Canaries have made 59 starting XI changes, eight more than anyone else.

Since a run of 14 clean sheets in 18 home league matches between December 2016 and September 2017, Leeds have conceded in each of their last six league games at Elland Road.

Both Leeds and Norwich have used a joint league-low seven English players in the Championship this season, along with Fulham and Reading.

Hoping that Weidwald has a solid game today and does everything he needs to do.

Wouldn't change my mind about replacing him, but between now and then we need him to perform, assuming he's picked.
